1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Ask the Bible ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid members.
2. Description of Service
Ask the Bible is an AI-powered Bible study companion that provides scripture references, pastoral reflections, and a personal devotional journal. AI-generated responses are intended for study and reflection and do not replace pastoral counseling, professional therapy, or medical advice.
3. AI Content Disclaimer
Responses are generated by AI and are not infallible. They are intended for edification and study, not as doctrinal authority. Scripture references are provided for verification. Users are encouraged to consult their local church leadership for matters of doctrine and spiritual guidance.
4. Accounts & Membership
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Membership plans are annual and auto-renew unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within 30 days of payment as part of our grace guarantee.
5. Acceptable Use
The Service is for personal devotional use, family study, and ministry preparation. Automated scraping, resale of generated content, or any use that violates the privacy or dignity of others is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
The Ask the Bible brand, design, and code are owned by the Service. AI-generated responses are provided for your personal use. Scripture text is used under the terms of each translation's copyright holder (ESV, NIV, KJV, NASB, CSB).
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
